Today’s Page Brief features characters from Metamorphosis, Bonds of Desire, Book #1. Enjoy!
From time to time there’s multi-part Page Brief’s that go together. I think of it as a Page Brief Serial and I name them. The below Page Brief Serial Made for You features the books at the time I wrote these Page Brief’s that were available in my Bonds of Desire series. Eventually when books are released in the Bonds of Desire series an Page Brief might be written and if it is it will be added to the Made for You Page Brief Serial. So this Page Brief Serial is a continuous one (at my discretion/time permits).
Made for You is a multi-part Page Brief Serial and best read in order for the most enjoyment. They are usually in order of the Bonds of Desire series for which they are written about (unless otherwise noted).

Walking across the clearing Richard saw something out the corner of his eye. He stopped and observed Allison acting very suspicious. She was walking as if she didn’t want anyone to know she was there. He cloaked himself so she couldn’t see him as he followed her. He just happened to be passing this way and now he was curious what she was up to.
When she stopped before a rock and looked around before she stepped closer then pressed her hand against the rock. The seemingly normal rock slid open revealing a doorway. Richard narrowed his eyes now more curious than ever what she was up to. Allison was human so she definitely didn’t have the power to create what was possibly room as well as an opening to it from a rock. He figured one of the other beings that inhabited Savoy Valley had created it for her. She stepped into the doorway and disappeared beyond and he heard her snicker.
“Mine.” She said before the doorway closed and was once again a rock.
“What the hell is going on?” Richard walked closer on silent feet towards the rock face.
It was on their property but he had no clue it was even there. He reached out with his senses and felt nothing. Curious he went closer then walked through the rock. Instinctively he caught her fist as she swung on him.
“Richard.” Allison rolled her eyes. “Don’t sneak up on me like that.”
“When my fiancé is acting all sneaky it makes me wonder.” Richard met amber eyes.
Allison wrinkled her nose. “I guess I couldn’t keep it secret forever.”
Richard glanced around and noted it was a library with comfy chairs and inviting atmosphere. “This is nice very nice. But you do know we have a library in the house. Not to mention a whole ton of books at our store Book Nook Escapes.” He gestured. “So why all the secrecy and acting all weird?”
“I was going to tell you but I got caught up in the clandestineness of the whole thing.” She laughed. “Damu gave me this place and a lot of these books that has so much information in them. It has research information about so many different things, beings and history. Also some fictional and fun written by people from his race and others.” Allison’s eyes shown with excitement and she bounced in place. “Then Challen added some more. As well as-“
As she listed all various beings that were their friends Richard held back his smirk.
“What?” Allison demanded.
“You do know Damu still has plans of keeping you as a pet. This is his way of enticing you with the gifts he can give you if you agree to be his pet.”
“I know. I keep telling that damn dragon I’d be an awful pet. Mouthy and annoying.” Allison scowled. “He seemed to like that. And he had the gall to say he’d take you and the kids as part of his collection to. That damn stubborn Dragon.”
Richard laughed. Knowing the pain in the ass dragon he would. He wasn’t worried about it since he knew it wasn’t ever happening. They’d be a fight between the Dragon and quite a few people across various realms who wanted them to work with them or be in an alliance with them for various reasons. Although it would be entertaining to see who might win Richard wasn’t concerned. Richard pulled her close and kissed her on the cheek.
“My little book warrior.” He chuckled. “You’re all ready to defend your secret clandestine book library.”
Allison punched him on the chest. “Just because you’re a big bad Pyroice doesn’t mean I wouldn’t throw down with you for some books.” She winked at him.
Richard cleared his throat. “So… I noticed there’s a few comfortable chairs in here.”
“Nope, we’re not having sex in here.” Allison stepped back and wagged her finger at him in warning.
She walked away. He smiled as he saw she put an extra swing in her hips. Allison looked over her shoulder. The smoldering desire in her gaze made him know he could convince her. He’d have to work for it but he loved that about her. She was his fierce book warrior and wasn’t easily won but once she was it was so worth it.
