Today’s Page Brief features characters from Metamorphosis, Bonds of Desire, Book #1. Enjoy!
From time to time there’s multi-part Page Brief’s that go together. I think of it as a Page Brief Serial and I name them. The below Page Brief Serial Made for You features the books at the time I wrote these Page Brief’s that were available in my Bonds of Desire series. Eventually when books are released in the Bonds of Desire series an Page Brief might be written and if it is it will be added to the Made for You Page Brief Serial. So this Page Brief Serial is a continuous one (at my discretion/time permits).
Made for You is a multi-part Page Brief Serial and best read in order for the most enjoyment. They are usually in order of the Bonds of Desire series for which they are written about (unless otherwise noted).
This might be a rough draft so excuse any typos and so on.

Allison walked down the hall into the entryway. She stilled and blinked not sure what she was seeing.
“Ummm…Richard why are you covered in dirt, paint and god knows what else?” Allison pointed. “Go around back. Why the hell did you come inside like that? You’re going to mess up the house.”
“It’s been a day.” Richard scowled. “Meet me out back. I need help washing this off.”
Richard backed out the open front door and stomped around the side of the house. Allison went to close the door and snickered as she heard him cursing. She chuckled as she gathered some things to help him get cleaned up. Soon she went out the backdoor then set the things on the table closest to the hose.
She glanced at Richard and laughed.
“It’s not funny.” Richard grumbled.
“The expression on your face.” She laughed harder and held her side. “Oh my god. Wait.” She grabbed her cell and quickly took a picture.
“Allison.” He growled.
“I need to have this for future usage.” Allison gestured. “Come closer so we can get you cleaned up.” She pulled on some gloves.
“Gloves are a good idea.” Richard came closer eyeing what she had brought. “Where do we even start?” He sighed.
“I’m kissing you right now, Mister Grumpster.” Allison grimaced. “Imagine it since I’m not doing it until you are clean. I don’t want whatever you have on you on me. Lower your head.” She pulled something out his hair. “Is that egg shells? What the hell were you doing? I thought you were helping some of your friends with something.”
Allison continued to pull stuff out of his hair.
“I was. We didn’t realize when someone decided to sled hammer a wall it would come down taking and that brought down the second floor. A second floor which had a whole bunch of crap on it. Crap that rained down on us. Which upended the paint, dirt and so on to combine with the stuff falling from the second floor. ” Richard shook his head.
“Don’t move like that. Stuff is flying.” Allison urged. “So let me get this straight. Someone…”She looked at him pointedly. “Started swinging a sledge hammer without checking the safety first. Of course they did not. Which caused all sort of problems. And caused you and I assume others to end up looking like this.”
“I…”Richard sighed loud and long looking mournful. “You know I hate waiting. They were moving so slow and talking things to death. And come on it was a sledge hammer. So many shiny tools just waiting to be used.”
“And that’s one of your things. It was tempting you. Saying sweet nothings to you to come and use it.”
“Yes.” Richard hissed.
“Was it worth it?” Allison pointed at how he looked.
“Yes.” Richard nodded vigorously.
“You know what. You are hopeless.” Allison stated. “Hopeless.”
“They won’t let me use any more tools without supervision.” Richard pouted.
“I can’t blame them.” Allison grimaced as she continued taking things out of his hair.
“That means you.”
She looked at him surprised. “Really. Why me?”
“I might have had help using tools without proper thought.” Richard shrugged.
“Wait…how many of you did that?” Allison was suspicious knowing it had been quite a few of them.
“All but two of us.” Richard avoided her eyes. “But in our defense, it was shiny, seducing tools and so much to destroy.”
“Two?” Allison stared at him in disbelief. “Wasn’t there-“
“Let’s not discuss how many of us there was.” Richard said. “It’s been decided we need supervision. They picked you.” Richard scowled. “We still can’t figure out how we were outvoted that we need supervision. Especially when everyone but the two who didn’t use tools was the only ones who voted for you to supervise. That’s some iffy math. Something is fishy there.”
Allison stifled a laugh. She already figured out those who had held out and voted for supervision had threatened something. Richard wouldn’t tell her at least not now. She’d get it out of him at another time. Her cell beeped. Allison took it out and read the text.
“Supervision Necessary.” Allison glanced at Richard. “Seems like they want to make sure I know about the necessary supervision.”
“I told them I would let you know.” Richard turned so she could reach the back of his hair. “So untrusting.”
Allison didn’t reply to that instead. “Don’t worry I have your back. I’ll be the supervision necessary.”
“You think you’re funny.”
Allison left that one alone also and kept cleaning him up.
