Today’s Page Brief features characters from Animal Instincts, Legend Cove Book #3. Enjoy!
From time to time there’s multi-part Page Brief’s that go together. I think of it as a Page Brief Serial and I name them. The below Page Brief Serial Temptation Maneuvers features the books at the time I wrote these Page Brief’s that were available in my Legend Cove series. Eventually when books are released in the Legend Cove series an Page Brief might be written and if it is it will be added to the Temptation Maneuvers Page Brief Serial. So this Page Brief Serial is a continuous one (at my discretion/time permits).
Temptation Maneuvers is a multi-part Page Brief Serial and best read in order for the most enjoyment. They are usually in order of the Legend Cove series for which they are written about (unless otherwise noted).

Jaden mirrored Synda’s movements. They flowed together in a beautiful dance that would take out any opponent. He moved the other way and she did the opposite and then they came together and moved as one.
“You know if anyone saw us when we said we would be relaxing and instead we’re here training they would think these two don’t know how to relax.” Synda laughed. “That’s to show you they don’t know us.”
“Those that do know us would understand.” Jaden continued his movements matching hers. “Besides we don’t really care what others think.”
“True. That’s what makes you a good match for me.” Synda winked.
“Although it took some convincing for you to get that.”
“I’m never going to live that down.”
“You’re trying to outmaneuver me and sacrificing for everyone.” Jaden glanced at her pointedly.
“Yeah yeah. I’ve heard it many times since. No one is letting it go.” Synda shrugged. “I figure let you all get it out your system and eventually it’ll fade into distant memory.”
Jaden didn’t respond to that or correct her wrong assumption. Instead he focused on now. The training together was enjoyment, preparedness and just them. He knew the more prepared they were the more they both could relax. They would face whatever came together as a united pair.
“I’m enjoying making a home with you here in Legend Cove.” Synda said.
Jaden smiled pleased. For her to say that they had come a long way. Synda had experienced a lot of loss and was used to sacrificing for others. She didn’t think of herself first but he slowly was getting her to see that she was just as important. That she didn’t have to do everything on her own. She was unlearning behaviors that she had built up over years. He knew it would take time and he was willing to do it.
“I’m enjoying being your home. I will always be by your side.” Jaden vowed.
Synda inclined her head. “When we’re done training for the day what do you want to do?”
“How about a little bit of hide and seek?” Jaden smirked. “You use your various shifter sides to track me. There might be something for you if you can find me.”
“Why do you sound so excited?” Synda’s eyes flashed in challenge. “You must think I won’t be able to find you.”
“You can try.” Jaden replied.
“Accepted.” Synda laughed. “A little training and some hide and seek with very interesting stakes.”
“A day like this is unapologetically us.” Jaden nodded.
