New features…

I’m adding some features to my blog starting on June 3 – this upcoming Monday. Some will post more often than others. Here are some of the things I have planned.

Jeffisism
This is my own thoughts and/or quotes I’ve written. These are my own little slice of wisdom on various things. My plan is to post ‘Jeffisism’ on a weekly basis on Monday’s.

Page Notes
I will feature some little tidbit about my writing and things from my books – published, contracted or work in progress. This can be an excerpt, some thoughts on the story or character in my books, and many other things related to writing. My plan is to post these weekly on Wednesday’s or Saturday’s.

Designer’s Edge Articles

Designer’s Edge is a series of articles that I wrote and some are posted on my website. I’m going to start posting more of them here including some new ones. Designer’s Edge is about creating – after all authors are designers who use nothing to create a garment of life’s fabric for their characters that you grow to love. The articles can cover from the conception of the idea to the completion of a novel. I’m in no way an expert on writing I’m just sharing my own thoughts and things I have experienced. The articles can be craft related or just random thoughts about writing. They vary in length – some are short and others longer – based on what I’m thinking about.

I will post ‘Designer’s Edge Articles’ randomly on Thursday’s.

~~~~~~~
Well that is it so far for some features I’m adding to the blog starting on Monday. I’ll still be blogging as the mood strikes but adding some features too. 🙂
About McKenna Jeffries
McKenna Jeffries has loved the written word from time she picked up her first book. Soon she was creating tales of love and family. Although McKenna used to make up stories she never thought to put them on paper until....she realized the stories would keep filling her until they were written. Since then she's been writing and sharing her interracial/multicultural books. There is always some new story floating around her head. An itchy feeling in her fingers fills her until she can get a piece of paper to write it down. She writes because it's a love affair. Writing is in her blood and she enjoys taking readers on a journey. With so many ideas filling her, McKenna is always hard at work.
