Knowing each other and having history can help you on the path to reclaim what you have lost.

Bram Adofo has returned home to claim the one woman who knows him inside out. Yet, with their past history and hurt between them, it’s a task that will take time, seduction, and most importantly, regaining trust that has been decimated. He knows that Richela is worth it, yet he’s impatient to have this woman who is in his heart, soul, and very blood. Richela is not a woman easily swayed, but he’ll not walk away again. This time, he’s going to be there for forever and beyond.

Richela barely lived through the loss of Bram once. Letting him close again makes her leery, but she cannot walk away from this man who she knows is hers…only hers. If they are to have a future, they must face their past–a past wrought with pain, words left unspoken, and Bram leaving her. His reasons for leaving are of no consequence, and this time, she cannot allow it to happen again. He makes her heart beat. They are a match to each others’ soul…in each others’ blood. This time, she won’t let him go. She will bind him to her… and if he does get away, she will hunt him down and make him know that she is not a woman you walk away from.

With history behind them, Bram and Richela will have to embrace their future and keep it Rekindled….

Look for Rekindled on Satin Notes ~http://www.satinnotes.com, the 1st chapter posted today July 1, 2011.

There are many sides to any story. I was having a conversation with a friend in which we were discussing a book we had both read. We both had a different side we came away from the story with. Although it has happened before, each time I think it is so interesting. It has lead to some very lively and interesting discussions.

It is fun to dissect what we each got from a book. She sees things or subtle contexts that I didn’t or vice versa. When we discuss it together it is like uncovering parts of the book I didn’t have any clue about. This is why I love having these conversations. It is good to get a different side to the story.

Many times after our discussions we both go reread the book. We see the different side we each saw yet we sometimes find even more sides. Yep lots of discussion material to have. It is so much fun when reading to discover even more. There are even times they read something I haven’t then give me there thoughts. Since we have a similar taste in books I use what they think to try a book that I might have been unsure of.

So what are some books your have discussed with other and found a different side?

I was looking through my photo album. As I flipped each photo it brought back what happened when the picture was taken. It was memories of my life. I thought of what I was feeling, what was happening and what happened next. When I finished with the album I sat and thought about it some more.

This is what is portrayed in books. What the writer is trying to get across. A picture into the life of the characters. Books should give you a picture in your mind that you can visualize like you are there. You are living it. If this happened when you read it is fulfilling.

I love that when I read. There have been many books that make that happen for me. Those are the one I remember. The ones I go back to and reread often. Because they filled various emotions. They are the ones that a scene from the story pops onto my thoughts at random times. The ones that make me go to read the book so I can read the stories again. The pictures they create live with me for a long time.

The last few days I have been enjoying the cold weather. LOL. I know it is strange. The last few days I’ve been happy. The crisp bite of winter has set in. People are moving fast to and from where we are going to get out of it. Instead of my usual rush I decided to stroll to and from my house. I took on the breathtaking beauty of winter. There is a scent in the air that can’t be mistaken. A crisp, fresh smell of winter. As I went through my day it followed me. There were a few people that was doing as I did. They had smiles on their faces as they walked like I did. We were enjoying being outside.

Although it is a cold days like today put a huge smile on my face and a song in my heart. Yeah I know I’m being sappy again but this is that sort of day. A good mood day that you want to share with everyone else.

I was trying to get my printer to work the other day I realized something. If I don’t load the paper a certain way it will jam. Since this has happened a few times and frustrated me I wanted to get to the bottom of what the problem was. So after loading and reloading my printer I came to the conclusion. The paper can’t be flat but have a little hump to it. So I need to load it hump side up. Yeah I know it was like an ah ha moment. LOL. Hey who am I to go against my printer. It doesn’t like the flat side. This made me think of other little idiosyncrasies around me.

Namely some people’s idiosyncrasies. For example every day I meet some of the same people as I go to work. We take the same seats. I don’t think it is even intentional we just go there. On the same trip there is one person who is a reader, a music listener and a cell phone talker. They each do the same thing each day. The reader pulls out whatever book they are reading. Of course since I am reading too we eye each other’s book to see what we are reading. The music listener bops and lip syncs to whatever they are listening to. The cell phone talker had a long conversation that shares all their business and so on. Yeah they are loud and I don’t think they even realize it.

These are idiosyncrasies that we each have that we don’t even think about. Another of my idiosyncrasies is at the end of my day as I come out of the tunnel in the train I automatically relax. It is at that moment that I know that I am only a few minutes from home. Home where I can relax even more before I starting all over again the next day.

What are some of your idiosyncrasies?
