My sister and nephew are coming for a visit. Her hubby can’t make it this year. They are coming for the summer. I am excited. I haven’t seen then in a year. I talk with them almost everyday but it isn’t the same as actually seeing them. So I’ll preparing for them and am so excited. Me and my sis can have a gag session to catch up. I love when they come and visit. We chat, cook, laugh, and hang out. And most importantly we shop.

Thursday, June 19th, 2008I was relaxing in my chair watching some Sci-Fi when an idea hit me between the eyes. I tried to push it away and watch the movie I was watching. The movie was good darn it. {grin} Well it wouldn’t go away so I picked up the writing pad (I’ve learned to always have paper close to wherever I am) I had next to me and wrote what had come to me. Before I knew it I had partial of a new book. And you guessed it. I missed the rest of the movie. I’ll have to catch the repeat at a later date. Off to write some more.
Hot out there
Thursday, June 12th, 2008The last few days have been a scorcher. Whew. I normally enjoy my day job but in this weather I am loving it. They have much better A/C that I do. {Grin}
Although it is hot at least now it actually feels like summer. Try to keep cool out there.
It’s a reality world
Thursday, June 5th, 2008I was watching the summer TV line up the other day and it is filled with Reality shows. Now I will admit I love certain reality shows myself. Like So you think you can dance and Amazing Race to name a few.
But seeing the mass amount of reality shows some of which I am sure won’t survive to show next season (as many more have had the same faith) I wonder where is the regular drama, comedy or such show. They are few and far between.
I’m looking forward to Army Wives, The Closer, Psyhic, Monk and Criminal Intent. And don’t forget some of the reality shows I do watch (refer above).
