The best of intentions

Thursday, May 29th, 2008

This past weekend I had the best intentions to write but found I couldn’t. I so needed a break from these last hectic few weeks. So I vegged and did nothing. And loved it.

Now a new week is here and I’ve gotten so much done. Powered through the scene that was giving me problems and am going along at a nice pace. The rest worked better than trying to keep pushing the scene. I’m very pleased.

Now off to get some more writing done.

Long weekend and scene work

Thursday, May 22nd, 2008

This is a long weekend coming and I for one am looking forward to it. It has been a hectic time and so much going on. So this is a much needed break this weekend.

I’ve been working on getting a scene in a book I am writing just right. I’ve been reworking it because something is off and I just need to put my finger on what it is. Oh well maybe this weekend I will get it down and can move on in the book.

Have a great holiday.

When life gives you a second chance, how do you decide what to do?

Dominique Rule knows what the pain of loss can do to your soul. Not willing to take the chance again, she lives by the code of no dating. And if you are stupid enough to get involved, keep interaction to a minimum, and never get personal. She has been able to resist temptation, at least until she meets a man who makes her want to believe in the one thing she cannot afford to–a second chance at happiness.

Taggart Blade is used to being in the background of his more outgoing family. Better known for being quiet and affable, he is shaken by his primal reaction to Dominique, a woman who wants nothing to do with him, and who he can’t stop fantasizing about. After one too many encounters with the enticing Ms. Rule, he knows it’s time to take drastic measures to break through her barriers. A Blade does not back down from any challenge, or resist any temptation, especially when the stakes are high and he wants the ultimate prize–her heart.

With a Blade who breaks all the rules, there will be passion, intrigue, and a titillating ride. Breaking a Rule has never been so fun, or decadent…

Catch up and blogging at SIA

Thursday, May 15th, 2008

It’s been a while since I’ve blogged here. Been a lax blogger again. It’s been a crazy hectic time in day job and at home. Busy, busy.

This time I am definitely back and will make sure to blog here at least a few days a week. Not everyday but at least two to three times a week or more.

I’ve been writing and writing. I’ll have a more detailed post about what I have been up to soon. I will be starting my Weekly Update which I will now be posting either on Saturday or Sunday in June.

For the On the Screen and On the Shelf features I will be only posting one or the other at random times. So you’ll either have an On the Screen or an On the Shelf post. It all depends on what I feel like writing or what is going. LOL.

See I have a plan to make sure to blog more often. LOL. Now you already know at least one of the type of posts I will be doing each week. The Weekly Update.

Also I have a great review for Conquering Jazz. I will be sharing with you in my Weekly Update in June. I’m really excited about it. Now a shameless plug. Have you got your copy of Conquering Jazz  yet? If not what are you waiting for go on and get it here.

I’m also blogging at SIA today.
